I really want to step up the quality of my photos and video. I am blessed with many things, and one of those is a photographer mother-in-law. I had already considered asking to borrow a bigger camera, but after yesterday’s game got the spousal thumb of approval, I might recruit the artist instead of the supplies. Maybe I can disguise a photo shoot as a family outing. It takes a village to write a blog.
In the meantime, here are some videos I took of the Towson vs. Marist game on Sunday, March 18, 2018. The quality isn’t great, but it’s baseball. ¡Qué vida!
I didn’t actually intend to post videos only of Richie Palacios, but as it turns out these are the only three decent sequences I captured the entire afternoon. Like I said, I have goals.
In any case, if you are interested in all things Palacios, these videos at least give a glimpse of defense, hitting, and baserunning. Trifecta!
Palacios Plates One
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Richie Palacios drives in Billy Lennox with a sharp shot to right field. Andrew Cassard advances to second on the play.
Palacios Pilfers Second
Richie Palacios gets a great jump and turns on the jets to easily steal second base.
Palacios Charges A Groundball
The shortstop charges a slow bouncer and throws to first to end the top of the eighth.
